Option B is priced at double the build price. You're not paying extra for the same site — you're getting the documentation, the handover and the code itself, and you're free of any monthly cost after that.
A builder is a fair choice if you enjoy doing it yourself. An agency is a fair choice if you have the budget and the time. If you have neither, that's what I'm for.

I work alone, and that's the point. There's no manager between you and the person writing the code, so nothing gets lost on the way and changes happen the same day.
I don't hand over a project and disappear. Businesses don't want to own a technical problem — they want the site to work. So that part stays with me.

No. Payment is the second-to-last step, after the preview.
Hosting, the whole technical side, and up to 3 content edits per month — text, prices, contacts, moving a section. Bigger changes and new features are quoted separately.
It's a different product. You get the source code, documentation, deployment instructions, every access, a handover call with your developer and 30 days of bug fixes — and no monthly cost after that.
Then take option B: pay once, own the code, and your own developer takes it from there.

Nobody searches Instagram on Google. People looking for what you do are typing it into Google right now, and a site is what puts you in front of them. It's also something you can advertise.
